Contract Hours: 33.08 per week, term time only plus 5 inset days (195 days in total)

Salary: NJC Grade D SCP 7-11 £24,294 = £25,979 per annum

(pro-rata, £12.59 - £13.47 per hour)

We are looking to strengthen our existing team of support staff by appointing an enthusiastic, ambitious, and highly effective support assistant You will join a dedicated team of staff at this popular all age schools for pupils with complex needs; including those with profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and those with multi-sensory impairments.

We are looking for someone who is willing to take a full and active role in the life of the school and be part of a hardworking and committed team. The post holder will be expected to work anywhere throughout the age and needs range of the school supporting learning and assisting in the general care and welfare of pupils. This includes assisting students with their personal care.

The successful candidate will have the experience and/or the ability to support children with additional learning needs to make appropriate progress relevant to their individual targets. You will have the ability to form positive relationships with children and families, focused on individual learning need. You will work under the direction of the class leads.

Hours of work are:

Monday 08:30 – 15:45, Tuesday 08:30 – 15:45, Wednesday 08:30 – 15:45, Thursday 08:30 – 16:00, Friday 08:30 – 15:15, Term Time Plus 5 INSET

Salary: NJC Grade D, SCP 7-11 £25,584 - £27,269 per annum

 

Required as soon as possible, to join a dedicated team of staff at this popular all age schools for pupils with complex needs.

Governors wish to appoint an additional member of staff to our Premises team.

With support, you will be responsible for site security, maintenance, health & safety, and cleanliness of the school premises.  You will assist with planned maintenance and day to day repairs within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson. The successful candidate will need a flexible approach to their working day, the ability to identify work priorities and manage their workload whilst ensuring that lower priority work is completed.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exemption) Act 1975 and if you are successful, you will be required to apply to the Criminal Records Bureau for a ‘disclosure’.  It is also subject to satisfactory medical clearance and references.
