Welcome to Woodlands School.
Thank you for showing an interest in our wonderful school!
Woodlands School is fully committed to the safeguarding of our students and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.
We are an outward looking and successful school for children with special educational needs.
Here at Woodlands our dedicated staff team are committed to providing outstanding opportunities for all our students, to develop their skills and personalities to enable them to become the best that they can be. We do this by providing excellent teaching and support and an inspiring and enriched curriculum within a safe, secure and positive environment. This enables our students to overcome a diverse array of learning difficulties and additional challenges and to grow in confidence.
We are eager to work closely with parents and families, and hope this website will leave you interested and reassured.
Our mission is to ensure that we all learn together, following the Woodlands TRAIL – Together, Raising Aspirations for Independence and Life-long learning.
You are most welcome to come and visit us. We’d love to show you around and answer any questions that you might have.
Visitors and volunteers are required to wear a badge at all times. All concerns about the welfare of students should be brought to the attention of the Designated Safeguard Lead: Karen Haworth or the Deputy Safeguarding Lead: Glynis Alexander.
