Fundraising for Woodlands Therapy Dog
The cost of purchasing a dog, insurance, vet bills and training staff to work with a therapy dog is quite extensive . We are very lucky to have been offered support by The Danbro Foundation, which is run by Danbro employees. The foundation is hosting a fundraising day for us on Children in Need Day, with all profits going towards a therapy dog for our students. The day includes a fancy dress competition, cake sale, raffle and a lucky bucket.
Danbro is an award winning firm of Chartered Management Accountants based in Lytham St Annes.
Danbro was founded by Damian and Helen Broughton back in 1999, to support businesses, consultants, contractors, new start-ups, limited companies, franchises and independent professionals. Two decades on, the business employs more than 150 people, and works with over 7,500 clients nationwide.
The company has a strong emphasis on family, and a culture that’s underpinned by values inherent in all its employees, Danbro are dedicated to providing expert and trusted advice to clients, while working hard to involve and support the local community – both in Lytham St. Annes and across Lancashire. The company prides itself on contributing time, money and valuable resource to charitable causes, playing an integral role in local life.
Three years ago, both Helen & Damian were awarded MBEs by Her Majesty The Queen, for their work with small businesses, the self-employed, and the local community. And, earlier this month, Helen was made a Deputy Lieutenant of Lancashire by the Lord-Lieutenant, the Lord Shuttleworth KG KCVO.
