The Together Centre is a Children and Young People's Service with a specific focus on providing services for families with disabled children/children with additional needs aged 0 - 13.
 

At the Together Centre we aim to be a 'one stop shop' for advice, support and information for families with disabled children and children with additional needs. We have information and links to services on a full range of matters including:
 

  • Childcare and Play Schemes
  • Housing/Debt/Benefits including DLA claims
  • Access to grants which are available for equipment/furniture/holidays/toys
  • Communication, behaviour and parenting support, counseling services
  • Information on education services and provision for children with additional needs including the process of a child's statement of educational needs
  • Links to health services: specialist dental service, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hydrotherapy
  • Family support services
  • Links to specialist services including Blenheim House, special schools and the Children with Disability social work team
  • Activities and groups, Direct Payments and Short Break care
  • Support for siblings
